He married Gauri Deshmukh on December 28, 2014, and the two were gifted with a son, Vyom, on December 21, 2019.

Career

He made his acting debut in the 2010 Hindi movie "Muskurake Dekh Zara," in which he played Vivek. The movie had a poor box office performance. Following an almost five-year hiatus, he appeared as Martand in the Marathi movie "Carry On Maratha" in 2015. Deool Band (2015), Kanha (2016), Mala Kahich Trouble Nahi (2017), and Bonus are a few of his Marathi movies (2020). He has appeared in a few Hindi movies, including "Panipat" (2016) and "Dongari Ka Raja" (2019).

Also, he has made appearances in a few Hindi TV series, including "Imlie" (2018) and "Anjaan: Special Crimes Unit" (2020). He has both directed and acted in several plays.

• His family and friends call him Gash.

• At the age of 15, he opened his own dance studio to provide for his family. In Pune, he maintains the "GRM Dance School" dancing school. While describing his love for dance, he once said,

"When I dance, people can see a different side of me. I've come to understand that acting and dancing are essentially the same thing. You must be able to dance in order to be a complete actor, as body language is crucial for actors."

• At a conversation regarding his difficult times, Gashmeer commented,

"My mother was also employed at that time as a housekeeper in a hotel, earning only 3,000 rupees per month. Since my mother taught me that no job is trivial, I distributed flyers about my business at that time on the road."

• He practises yoga every day. He stated in an interview,

         "Breath control is an important component of acting. And you learn that art by doing yoga. Although I haven't been able to include it into my workout regimen just yet, this is one thing I want to pick up from my father, who does yoga extremely religiously and begins each day with a pranayam. Although I am unable to perform all of his asanas, I make sure to at least perform pranayam on a regular basis." 

• He frequently appears to be consuming alcohol at gatherings and other occasions.

According to Gashmeer Mahajan, who was the only breadwinner in the family when his father passed away when he was 15 years old, he began working for his family's support. In an episode of the Indian dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10, in which he participated, he made this revelation.
